re-do

Okay, so we spent most of the afternoon playing corn hole tournaments. I know it isn't technically exercise, but since it's all I've got for today, I'm clinging to it! I've been working through the summer routine, and I really liked the quote about excuses. I'm definitely ready to see results, so I suppose that means I can no longer fall back on my excuses. I'm going to walk Olivia to school every day for this last week, and I'm hoping that will prepare me for some morning work-outs this summer. Where did you find your 5K schedule? I've seen a few, but most seem to move ahead too quickly for my skill level. And just so you know, I can not run at a 6.0 unless I fully intend to pee my pants. No lie. Something about moving my legs that quickly and pinching that hard...for me, they can't be done simultaneously. I try to avoid that speed at all costs unless I'm prepared with a maxi in my pants! I'm glad you got through your two miles. I should be able to do that, but I'm afraid I'm probably back to gasping my way through one. One step forward, two miles back. But I've no one to blame but myself. And I'm trying to come to terms with a few things: either I'll have to quit sleeping on the couch and work out in the morning, or I'll have to sleep on the couch and then exercise and just live with my pathetic productivity. I'm pretty sure for the first week or so it will be the latter, but hopefully I'll improve as I go along. Have a lovely weekend. P.S. I meant to post this but forgot (happening a lot lately. Exhaustion? Maybe...) Anyway, I think I'm going to make this private and just give up on the community idea. How do you feel about that?
